Precision Work for Powerful Worship: NDC Church Audio Tune-Up
At STI Solutions, we were recently trusted to do a regular audio system check and maintenance for NDC Church, one of the biggest churches in Jakarta. This church holds three services every week in a beautiful venue that fits around 2000 people. It’s a place filled with energy and worship — and the sound system plays a big part in creating that experience.
We started with a full system inspection, checking every audio line, signal path, cabling, and especially the speaker performance. The church uses a L-Acoustics KARA line array system, a powerful setup hanging 12 meters high in the ceiling. To ensure every speaker box was in top condition, we decided to dismantle the whole array and bring it down for careful checking — one box at a time. Working at that height would be unsafe and not effective, so this was the best solution to keep the system reliable.
During the inspection, we found some components that were not working properly. We replaced the broken parts, reinstalled the speakers, and continued with the alignment, adjustment, and tuning. Every speaker box was calibrated so the sound would cover the entire room clearly and evenly — from front to back. We make sure everyone attending the service, and everyone serving, can enjoy the best worship experience.
One of the biggest challenges in this project was time. The venue is also used as a multifunction hall, so we had a very tight schedule to finish everything. That meant we had to work fast, but still maintain the highest quality. With our experienced team and clear workflow, we managed to complete the job on time without cutting corners.
